Privacy Policy
Last updated July 27, 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Comfy Castle Heating and Air ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website to help homeowners and light-commercial customers in the North and South Denver Metro Area request HVAC service, learn about their systems, and contact our team. We respect your privacy. This policy describes the personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices available to you — including rights under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us directly. When you submit a contact or service request form, call or text us, book an appointment, or apply for financing, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your home's HVAC equipment or the problem you're experiencing.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers collect device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and approximate (city-level) location. See Cookies & Analytics.
- Information from service providers. If you book through our online scheduler (Housecall Pro) or start a financing application (Hearth), those providers share the information needed to schedule and complete your service.
How We Use Information
- Respond to your service requests, quotes, and questions.
- Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments.
- Send service reminders, estimates, and invoices.
- Measure how the website performs and improve its content.
- Detect spam and abuse on our forms (reCAPTCHA).
- Comply with legal obligations, such as record-keeping for licensed trade work.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not sell personal information for money.
Third-Party Services
- Housecall Pro — online booking and the customer portal. Information you enter there is processed under Housecall Pro's privacy policy.
- Hearth — financing applications open on Hearth's site and are governed by Hearth's privacy policy. We never see your full credit application.
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, reCAPTCHA, Maps embeds) — see Cookies & Analytics.
SMS & Phone Communications
By providing your phone number in a service request, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Comfy Castle Heating and Air about your request, appointment scheduling, and service follow-up. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies with your service activity. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. We do not share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Your Privacy Choices — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Residents of Colorado, California, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. You can exercise that choice in any of these ways:
- Use the cookie notice shown on your first visit and choose "Opt Out," or click the button below at any time. This sets analytics and advertising storage to "denied" on this device.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat the GPC signal as a valid opt-out request, as Colorado and California law require.
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to confirm whether we process it. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within 45 days as the Colorado Privacy Act provides.
We never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right — the same service, pricing, and quality apply either way.
Payment Security
This website never collects or stores payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or other payment credentials. Payments for service work are taken in person or through our invoicing and booking provider (Housecall Pro), and financing applications are completed on Hearth's own secure site — in both cases your payment details go directly to those PCI-compliant processors and never touch this website. If any page on this site ever asks you to type in a card number directly, do not enter it and please contact us immediately.
Data Retention & Security
We keep service-request and customer records for as long as needed to service your equipment, honor warranties, and meet Colorado record-keeping requirements for licensed trade work, then delete or anonymize them. Form submissions travel over HTTPS, and access to customer records is limited to team members who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with appropriate technical and organizational measures.
Children's Privacy
Our services are for homeowners and businesses. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
